ITERLOGUE (4

Crazy about wanderings
that seldom dare to leave
mental cubicle holding self
I didn’t feel sorry for

Longing instead of moving
around in crowds
could survive like me
in a dream and alone

Encounters require nuance
more than visiting attended

Bent down by light from
a jolt under two trees
parallel branches form
an arch for wires scorched
like clouds in the breach

mixed with soot and birds
to avoid deserted platform
as I say it now appears

  1. Another good one. Very atmospheric. Love the line "encounters require nuance." How many people these days are capable of nuanced discussions?
